The unit of course should have their own skin and animation, don't forget about it! You could also download a mod who adds new units like highlanders warriors etc! So, if musket have 100 m range, unit who are using this type of musket ( musket breach loader, musket rifle, carbine, flintlock etc.) will have 100 m of range on the battlefield. The range of an unit is related to projectile that the unit use. And download a Land Units Stats Editor to see and edit unit stats. Go to units_tables in patch.pack file to see how the stats are organized for an unit type. I could tell only that every unit should have their unique name, description, recruitment zones, their stats, if they firing- what projectiles they use. ![]() There is a tutorial how to add a new units to the game.
